さて、今日の単語は junta 。
特に軍当局者で構成され、クーデター後に国を支配する集団のことで、
臨時政府とも言われます。

この語源は、
スペイン･ポルトガル語で committee, association の意味の junta 。
さらにこれは、ラテン語で to join の意味の jungere が語源で、
この jungere は、to join の意味のインド-ヨーロッパ語族の語根、
yeug- が語源です。
